It’s been a few weeks since we have posted a WAiSTEDD Wednesday feature-we’ll just go ahead and blame the holidays for that one… This week, we chose to feature metallic handbags. The great thing about these pieces is they will be a great asset to any outfit you chose to wear. For that reason, a metallic bag is a great investment piece. To us, we see an investment piece as something is versatile and not limited to the current trend of the year.

In our opinion, because these are investment pieces it is important to understand you may have to pay a little bit more for the bag you want- after all, this is something you will have for quite some time. With that said, this should not be a rash decision purchase! Spend some time thinking about what size and style would be the best addition to your wardrobe.

If you are going to use the metallic bag when you go out to parties or bars, we would recommend a smaller bag- either the Vince Camuto or the YSL. YSL is obviously much more of an expensive purchase, but I mean if this is your “go to” party bag, its absolutely worth it.

If this metallic bag is going to be your everyday bag- i.e your whole life will be in this bag- go for a bigger bag that has versatility- either the Michael Kors or Tory Burch. At roughly the same price, both of these bags would be perfect for every day use. Did we mention they are gorgeous?!?!
