The Simple Life

As you probably already know, we value the simplicity of an outfit. Simple doesn’t have to mean boring, and it doesn’t have to mean your outfit isn’t put together. Sometimes when you wake up in the morning, you just want to throw on some clothes and get your day going without having to think too much about it. Recently, this is how we have been feeling. We aren’t sure if it is the changing weather (seriously one day its 75…the next its 58 and raining-we can’t keep up!) or the craziness trying to keep up with everything, but there is something about having key pieces you can match with your whole wardrobe.

Basically, Lauren’s outfit is one of these simple outfit that can be pieced with anything in your wardrobe. The neutral colored long sleeve shirt with the feminine lace detail on the shoulders can be dressed up or dressed down. Put it on with some high waisted shorts and flip flops and you are ready to go. Same goes for the skirt. Easy to wear with a shirt tucked in or a chunky sweater pulled over, this skirt transitions into all seasons. Find a skirt that flatters your figure and is your favorite neutral-you’ll be able to match it back to any shirt in your wardrobe.

Now for the shoes and accessories. When the outfit is simple, you can’t go wrong with the shoes. We think colorful sandals for summer, or peep toe booties for winter/spring would look amaze. As for jewelry, you can opt for your everyday musts. Lauren prefers rings and bracelets.  A simple black bag to carry your necessities and you are ready to take on your day. Right now we are really into mini crossbody bags. You can find them in literally any shape, color, and at any price point!

Welcome to the simple life.
