Treasure & Bond

This weekend during our usual Sunday online shopping spree, we came across a brand that has great clothes and an even better message. The brand, Nordstrom’s Treasure & Bond, offers casual basics, such as destructed denim, plaid flannels, and leather jackets. All items are the perfect transition pieces for summer to fall. Lauren just purchased the chambray shirt and can’t believe how soft and comfortable it is! During summer, we love pairing plaid and chambray shirts with white shorts, or tying them around our waists as a layering piece. To transition into fall, we love to layer them over a basic tee with a denim jacket over that. The mix of textures really adds dimension to the outfits.
As we mentioned, not only does this brand have great clothes, but a great message. Nordstrom just introduced this brand because of the charitable work it does. With every purchase, this brand donates five percent of the net profits to a nonprofit organization that empowers women and girls. What is better than shopping and knowing that it is going towards a good cause! Not only is this brand committed to a good cause, it is also educating everyone who shops it. We think that fashion can really influence people in a positive way, and this brand is a perfect example of what we want to achieve with our blog. Giving back to the community and empowering women has always been one of our main causes. If by shopping we can help other women, by all means will we keep shopping!!
Go to Nordstrom and shop this brand ASAP! Let us know what you think and spread the word. Think about how you can impact your community through your passions. We would love to hear what you are doing!
