Colorful Clutches

As we start to transition into fall (where did summer go?!) you may think you have to say goodbye to colors and hello to neutrals. Don’t be fooled! Colors can stay all year long. That is why this week we are WAiSTEDD on colorful clutches. They transition from day to night, from casual to fancy. Lauren usually likes to use them when going out to brunch or lunch on the weekends. Only taking the essentials to hang out with your friends is all you need!
Let’s walk thru a few of our favorite clutches of the season. First, you can never go wrong with cheetah/leopard print. It basically is a neutral that can be matched back with ANYTHING you want to wear. Next, YSL. Need we say more? This beautiful subtle red color pops against the gold. Since it is a simple fold over, it really goes with everything. Want a little more gold? The below Milly clutch features a bright flap with a great crocodile flap.
Now onto the middle row. The pop of color with the pink is a must, especially if you like to wear neutrals during Fall, like many of us do. A little more subdued would be the Kate Spade “Maisey”. Very classic and chic (like all Kate Spade items) can be used as a crossbody bag and clutch. Transition, transition! Same with the Clare V. clutch. We love how the zipper adds a pop of color, similar to the mustard yellow Henri Bendel clutch in the right row. Wristlets are also very easy, especially if you are going out and afraid of putting it down and forgetting. Being able to store your phone in your compact wallet is so convenient. And lastly, we are loving the shape of this Tory Burch clutch, which like the Kate Spade clutch doubles as a crossbody bag.
You really can’t go wrong with any of these choices! Our advice is to choose the first one you are drawn to, because that is the one you will pair with the most. It is fun to mix and match colors, so go for it! Enjoy these colorful clutches.Colorful Clutches

  1. As you know, I’m a fan. I appreciate the hard work and everything you share here. I hope you don’t mind that I have nominated you for the Liebster Award – an award dedicated to new bloggers who don’t have thousands of followers. (Since I’ve been having trouble finding out your follower number, pardon me if you don’t belong to this category.) Head over to http://zhours.me/2014/09/04/liebster-award/ to read the particulars. XOXO – zhours
