Rebecca Minkoff

We usually see marble stone on countertops in kitchens and bathrooms and don’t think twice about it (unless you are remodeling your house of course). But when interior decorating and fashion collide we are blessed with an amazing print: MARBLE! This week we are totally WAiSTEDD on marble print for accessories, jewelry, handbags, and apparel!
Bold, sophisticated, and delicate, this print is a great add for your Spring wardrobe. This neutral print can add a pop to any outfit, without overpowering. We think this print looks great next to any color, so it is a seamless add for your wardrobe.
If you aren’t ready to commit to this print, try it out on your nails first! Fashion blogger Aimee Song showed us on Instagram how trendy this print can be as nail art.
Do you think you will try this print for Spring? What marble printed piece will you add to your closet?
Happy Wednesday! Have a lovely rest of your week!

Spring Moto Jackets

Recently we have been noticing a lot of pastel colors popping up as Spring nears. We have been seeing these colors in tops and bottoms, but also unexpectedly in moto jackets- such a pleasant surprise. We are absolutely WAiSTEDD on these jackets and can’t get enough of them for the upcoming seasons!!!
We are all familiar with the black and grey tones, but we think these pops of colors are fresh and fun for the new season. Whether you want to keep it simple with white (which you can wear year round, especially in winter!) or mix it up with a light pink or blue, all of these jackets will complement your wardrobe. Coming out of Winter we find ourselves sticking to the neutrals in our closets. Pop on one of these jackets over a neutral top and jeans, and you are ready for Spring.
Happy Wednesday! The weekend is almost here! Spring Moto Jackets

Pretty, Pointy Pumps

Who is excited the Holidays are here!?! We hope you all had a relaxing Thanksgiving and are having an easy week back. It was SOOO nice having a little break and enjoying the amazing weather. Everyone needs a little time to refresh (and shop- what did y’all get on Black Friday and Cyber Monday??).
Enough about that- this week we are WAiSTEDD on pointy pumps. We are really loving how versatile these shoes have become and what a fashion statement they are. You can wear them with a preppy outfit, or ripped jeans and an oversized sweatshirt. They add sophistication to every outfit.
Recently we have been seeing a lot of great embellishments, colors, and silhouettes. As you can see below, our top 9 picks include some neutrals, metallics, and winter colors. We also threw in a mule pump which still have the pointy toe, but cover the front of the foot which can be more comfortable. For the Holidays we are LOVINGGGG really eye catching metallics. How could you not want to wear those silver pumps below? We think that even these can be considered neutral colors.
Which pumps are you WAiSTEDD on? Let us know or show us pics of your pumps by tagging @_WAiSTEDD on instagram!!
Happy Wednesday XOXO Danielle&Lauren

Mad for Plaid

When we think about fall, plaid immediately comes to mind. If you couldn’t tell from our previous posts, we LOVE plaid! We almost consider it a neutral, that’s how easy it is. Recently we have been seeing a lot of celebs wearing plaid flannels around their waists (see our Red October post) and we love to do it too. It breaks up the outfit and adds some dimension. Additional plus- flannels actually keep you warm when the sun goes down! They also come in a variety of fits. You can go for a boyfriend fit that is a little baggier, casual, and great for layering, or a more tailored collarless top to wear to work. Tailored button up plaid tops totally plays into the menswear trend we are seeing right now!
Plaid doesn’t have to be a top or a flannel. We have been seeing plaid pop up in accessories, such as scarves and shoes. We love the slip-on sneaker trend and fell in love with the Rebecca Minkoff printed slip-ons below. And as with every season, plaid scarves start making a comeback in fall due to their coziness. We have to say throwing one on in the morning can make everything a little better!
You can find plaid everywhere!! Let us know what you have been WAiSTEDD on and where to find it! We would love to hear your feedback!
Happy Wednesday! Danielle&Lauren

Navy + White + Rose Gold

Navy + White + Rose Gold

This might be one of our favorite color combinations (after black and white of course). It is so simple and chic, plus the colors are easy to match back to other pieces in your wardrobe. The preppy combination of white and navy can’t be done wrong. Lauren wore these shorts to the farmers market a few weekends ago with metallic Sperry Top Siders and a white tank to dress it down a little bit. The detail really stands for itself and just needs a few accent pieces to accentuate it. We have been obsessing over different material shorts, check out J.Crew, Ella Moss, and Splendid! They are a great way to mix up your denim shorts!

Drawstring Bucket Bags

No matter your style, we have a great Spring bag for you that will fit perfectly with your wardrobe. This is why we are WAiSTEDD on drawstring bucket bags. As the “it” bag for the season, you can find a chic, reasonably priced bag you won’t want to let go of. These bags are super versatile, whether you want it for the beach or for brunch and are great compliments to any outfit.
Now we know you might be thinking these are so ’90s how can they be back in style? Well retro, trendy touches have reinvented these carryall bags (along with celebs who are loving them as well). All bags shown have great buckles and hooks making the straps adjustable for your style. As for materials, you can find these bags in an array of prints, textures, and colors. The Vince Camuto Colby Drawstring bag adds dimension with perforated material, while the Elizabeth and James Cynnie Mini bag shouts with its color. We are also loving the red and gold combo seen in the Moschino Rosello Logo bag. And how can you go wrong with white for Spring and Summer (you can’t). Lauren found a white bucket bag for an amazing price at Old Navy (*look in the stores they don’t show white online*).
You will look incredibly fresh with this bag. There really isn’t an outfit you can’t wear it with. Since the weather is so off and on, we say pair the bag with a light jacket, cami, ankle skinny destroyed denim and some booties, or a blouse and skirt. The bucket bag is our favorite street style bag at the moment which means you can make it what you want! Embrace the bucket!
